Meet Nick

Founder of FSH Coaching

Let's unpack what truly matters - at the heart of it all, it's people.

Nick Withers knows what it means to have everything change in a moment. As a young athlete, a traumatic accident left him temporarily paralyzed with a severely broken hip and an uncertain future. Doctors weren’t sure if he would walk again.

While in the hospital, renowned trauma surgeon James Red Duke challenged Nick to lift his foot and touch his hand. With very limited movement, Nick gave everything he had and raised his leg just high enough for his toes to make contact — only about 18 inches, but it felt like a mile. That day, Dr. Duke gave him a nickname that day: “Superman.”

That moment shaped Nick’s mindset forever: adversity doesn’t define you — how you respond does.

For 15 years Nick has served in ministry helping people rebuild their lives mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Married for 20 years with two children, he understands the importance of leadership at home as much as in competition or career.

Through FSH Coaching, Nick now helps athletes, parents, and veterans develop mental strength, emotional discipline, and resilience.

His belief is simple: sometimes like a glow stick, you have to be broken before you can truly shine.
